How to Bake Potato Wedges Recipe Recpie
I like improvising while I cook and yesterday I experimented with some plain old potatoes. I washed about 2 lb of potatoes and cut them into wedges. Depending on the side of the potato I split it in half and then those halves into two wedges. If the potato is big I do cut it half from the middle too.
Then I got enough butter to make about 1 1/2 cup and melt it in the microwave for about 20 seconds. Next I mixed the melted butter (you could use any oil or spreading you have home) and about a cup of Italian dressing together. Then I pinched in some garlic powder and squirted about 2 tablespoons of honey mustard in. Mix it all well and ad to the bowl with your potato wedges and toss it around a bit.
I left mine covered in the fridge for about an hour before spreading the wedges to an uncreased cookie sheet. Heat your oven to 375 F and use the middle shelf.
My potatoes were ready to be turned around after 20 minutes and nice and browned 10 minutes later. Keep on eye on your potatoes, sizes of your wedges and your oven might be different than mine.
All I did was sprinkled some black pepper on top after baking and my family absolutely loved them. I served mine yesterday with pork chops done shake & bake style and corn on the side.
